The vocational training at SIGA will last 3 years altogether. On one or two days a week you will attend the vocational school, the other days you will work in the company. In our laboratories in Ruswil and Schachen you will work with laboratory glassware and computer-aided measuring equipment. The focus of our training is on synthesis processes and physical-chemical analysis. You will learn to observe and record reaction processes attentively. In addition, you will get an insight into production and process engineering and learn how laboratory results are integrated in the production process.

You will deepen your knowledge and become acquainted with other tasks in additional cross-company courses and exchange programs with other companies training apprentices.

If you are interested in scientific processes, capable of critical thinking and logic reasoning, have good observation skills and are able to work accurately you probably are the right person for us.

The vocational training at SIGA will last 3 years altogether. On one or two days a week you will attend the vocational school, the other days you will work in the company. You will work in various departments, such as the accounting department, the internal sales department with order processing, logistics and the SIGA Academy. You will learn a lot of new things in each department which will make your apprenticeship interesting and exciting.

In additional cross-company courses you can deepen your knowledge gained from theory and practice. You will improve your practical knowledge of French and English by temporary employment abroad.

You will learn a lot about SIGA and become acquainted with our employees, and you will have gained an insight into many different fields of activity at the end of your training.

What persuaded you to train as an office clerk?
I think the profession of an office clerk is very varied, and one can work in many different industries. Besides this, it is a very good basic training. After the apprenticeship you have many options of further training.

What do you like about the training at SIGA?
The training at SIGA is very diversified because I work in many different departments and thus become more and more acquainted with the company and the employees. People here are great and helpful, so it's twice the fun to work in a team.

The vocational training at SIGA will last 4 years altogether. On one or two days a week you will attend the vocational school, the other days you will work in the company in the IT area and support our field and internal staff. In the basic training for our new application advisors you will step by step take charge of interesting user training courses. Besides cross-company courses, exciting project tasks await you in the practice-related training.

What persuaded you to train as a computer scientist (system technology)?
Since one of my brothers works also in the IT business, I made early acquaintance with computers and now my hobby has become my profession.

What do you like about SIGA?
The nice employees and the good human relations. The modern IT infrastructure which is always state-of-the-art.

What do you like about the training at SIGA?
That, already at an early stage, I acquired the competence to work as system administrator and thus have access to all servers, and that I myself can train other people (e.g. the new
field staff).
